Doctors at the Mayo Clinic announced promising results from phase-two trials of a personalized CAR-T cell treatment for lymphoma. The therapy involves extracting a patient's immune cells, genetically engineering them to target cancer markers, and reinjecting them. Out of 150 participants, 135 showed complete remission. While still an expensive procedure, researchers hope to streamline production to make it highly accessible.
